'Heyy Babyy' creates record on cyberspace

The much-awaited Sajid Nadiadwala film "Heyy Babyy" has been a blockbuster hit on youtube.com, getting 10,000 hits on the first day. The film with a heavy-duty star cast of Akshay Kumar, Fardeen Khan, Riteish Deshmukh and Vidya Balan has made a huge impact in the digital space. No sooner was the film's promo uploaded on youtube.com, surfers started flocking the site.

Said Nadiadwala: "Yes, I did get a call from my overseas distributor who informed me about the excellent buzz on youtube.com and overseas that the promos have generated. It's just overwhelming."

And if this is an early indicator, then "Heyy Babyy" could end up a sure fire blockbuster at the box office too.

"I have made the film putting myself in the audiences' shoes. I have tried to slip into the skin of the audience. I want to entertain them. In fact, the characters of Akshay, Fardeen and Riteish reflect different aspects of my personality," said director Sajid Khan.

Looks like the buzz on "Heyy Babyy" will spread like wildfire.
