I'm actually a very funny guy: Arbaaz

Arbaaz Khan is working on his image makeover and signing films which allow him to show the comic side of his personality. "Though
I'm perceived as this serious kind of guy, I'm actually very funny. I
hope my friends would vouch for that," Arbaaz told IANS.
In
Apoorva Lakhia's just released "Shootout At Lokhandwala", Arbaaz plays
a cop and provides many light moments. And the same goes for Feroz
Naidiadwala's "Fool N Final" where he plays a funny gangster.
Arbaaz
started as an antihero in Abbas-Mastan's "Daraar". Ever since then he
has been pretty much typecast as the serious guy even in the comic
films with his brothers Salman Khan and Sohail Khan - "Pyaar Kiya To
Darna Kya" and "Hello Brother".
"And in the next film that we're
doing together, David Dhawan's remake of 'Amar Akbar Anthony', I'm
again cast as the serious cop Amar, the role that Vinod Khanna did in
the original.
"I guess Salman and Sohail will have all those
funny lines as Anthony and Akbar. But in my forthcoming films I'm
seriously looking at being funny. And I've made sure I had some laughs
watching myself in my next few films."
Any fear of doing a remake of a film that's a certified evergreen?
"It's
Salman who has more at stake in 'Amar Akbar Anthony'. What have I got
to lose? It can only benefit me. To me, playing a role done by Vinod
Khanna is a boon."
