Sony Pictures ink deal with Eros to produce, distribute Indian movies

Sony Pictures Entertainment and Eros International plc announced Wednesday that they would jointly develop, produce and acquire multiple Bollywood films and distribute them in various parts of the world. Sony Pictures Entertainment, a subsidiary of Sony Corp of America, is expected to distribute some of the titles in the US. Eros will use its wide infrastructure to distribute the films in other international territories.

'Last Lear' team had a blast in Toronto

Tusshar unhappy with the publicity of 'Aggar'

Though he has written off the debacle, Tusshar Kapoor attributes the non-performance of "Aggar" at the box office to poor publicity. "Normally the poor publicity of a film is attributed to the stars who don't give dates for pre-release campaigning. But I was more than willing to dole out dates for the publicity. Those dates went perpetually waste," Tusshar told IANS.
