Saif's secret pact with Rishi Kapoor

Multi-talented Saif Ali Khan, who compered the Zee awards in Malaysia last month in giggly camaraderie with Karan Johar, shocked and embarrassed the audience by proclaiming from stage, "What's Rishi Kapoor thinking? Maybe...'Where's the bar'."

"It was pretty horrifying, wasn't it? But catch me being rude to someone as senior and respected as Rishi Kapoor," said Saif. "That was the line given to us in the script. When I read it, I was appalled. So you know what I did? On the day before the show, I asked Rishi Kapoor about it. He said he was okay with it. Quite sporting of him," Saif told IANS.

It was Saif's first public appearance after his illness and he says he enjoyed the Malaysian experience.

"I had gone there alone and I had loads of fun. But I wish there were some genuinely funny lines that weren't offensive to anyone given to me to say on stage. All I got were bitchy lines."

His fans are eagerly waiting to see him as a car race champ in his next film, "Ta Ra Rum Pum".
