Shilpa Shetty just lost her pet cat Simba. And it’s not an easy thing to accept for her.
“It’s very hard for those who don’t have pets to understand what losing one means. People have been insensitive enough to actually laugh when I say I lost a dear member of my family. We’ve several cats in our home. But each one is special.”
Simba’s death was kept away from Shilpa while she was shooting in Kuala
Lampur last week. “My family didn’t tell me about it. I came back to
…this. The good part is that Simba didn’t have to suffer. Some time ago
he had a renal failure and was in a lot of pain. This time he went
peacefully…In any case cats live for 16-18 years maximum . He went in
12 years. No point in getting so attached to them when you know they’ll
go in no time.”
The impending going away of Jade Goody is also a big bother for the
ex-Big Brother contestant.
More so now when Jade has come out with some scathing comments against
Shilpa in her autobiography.
But Shilpa holds no illwill. “Someone told me about these remarks. And
then I read them on the net. But I don’t hold these remarks against
Jade. The autobiography was obviously completed months ago. Today the
circumstances have changed dramatically for Jade. She can’t afford to
hold grudges in her heart. None of us can.Life is too short and
unpredictable.”
