Shilpa to run in London marathon for a cause

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty has got out her running shoes for next month's London Marathon. But she won't be alone. Shilpa will be a member of a ladies team from London called Pimlico Plumbers.

Shilpa, the winner of British reality show "Celebrity Big Brother", is participating because she hopes to raise money for the Indian charitable body Water Aid, which sets up sanitation facilities in poor rural villages.

Her other goal is to beat rival housemate Jade Goody, who collapsed while running last year's marathon.

She said: "I'm excited but also nervous. I keep fit with dancing and working out but this is a big test. The Pimlico girls have been helping me with training."
