Sony to release record 1,450 trailers of 'Sawariya'

Creating history in the entertainment business, Hollywood-based Sony Pictures will release 1,450 trailers of their first Bollywood film "Sawariya" across the globe Friday.

Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the film is a launch vehicle of two star kids - Rishi and Neetu Kapoor's son Ranbir and Anil Kapoor's daughter Sonam.

Sony will release 750 trailers of "Sawariya" in India and another 800 globally.

"This is some kind of a record. No Indian film has got such a widespread first look," said a Sony source.

The theatrical trailer of "Sawariya" with its m�lange of exhilarating songs and dances is said to be a stunning work of art. It will show the much-awaited Ranbir-Sonam combination in a kind of ethereal fantasy world, frozen in a swirling surge of silences, songs and dances.
