Bollywood actress Tara Sharma, whose performance in "Page 3" and
"Khosla Ka Ghosla" was lauded, says she has done a Canadian film
and is getting several international offers.
Titled "The Bird Company", the Canadian venture is a mocumentary
short film like Oscar-nominated "Borat", and satirically narrates
the story of people who decide to set up a business of their own.
She is also a part of a BBC UK production in which she plays the
role of an Indian princess. She has also been offered a role in an
Italian television show.
Commenting on her international assignments, Tara said: "There are
many international offers that I have got. I can speak Italian and
this helped me in getting an offer from an Italian TV show. The
project called for staying 10 months in Rome. Unfortunately, I
cannot afford to stay out of India for so long."
She is also doing interesting projects in Bollywood like "The
Whisperers" with Rahul Bose, "Shaadi Ke Side Effects" with Salman
Khan, "Dulha Mil Gaya", in which she will share screen space with
Shah Rukh Khan and Sushmita Sen, and "Avahan".
"I want to do all kinds of films and in different languages. I
don't want to limit myself," she said on the sidelines of the 9th
Osian's-Cinefan Film Festival here.
