Romit Raj – the Aamir Khan of small screen

Romit Raj who stars in Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan and Maayka, is fondly called Aamir Khan by his director Manish Khandelwala not just for his cute looks, but for the perfectionist Romit is known to be. Manish who enjoys pulling Romit's leg, addresses his as Aamir only on the sets, especially having also been associated with the actor earlier while working on movies like Hum Hain Rahi Pyaar Ke, Madhosh etc.

"I have met Aamir and he is very meticulous about everything to do with his work. Romit reminds me a lot of him, who is particular about every small tidbit that goes into the show and his character. He is very dedicated an actor and puts in all his efforts."

Although Romit likes the compliment, he still insists his director to use his original name, which Manish intentionally doesn't oblige.
