 NDTV Imagine’s popular show ‘Bandini’ has gone through many twists
and turns with the lead character Santu’s journey towards marital
happiness, crossing the barriers of age, caste, class as well as the
various obstacles in her way.
Now, as per the present track, Dharamraj Mahiyavanshi popularly known
as DM, a character played by Ronit Roy, wants to divorce Santu because
he cannot bear his son’s killer in the house.
The story has come to a point where Santu is staying on with DM only
until her granddaughter Nandini recovers from illness. Santu is taking
this painful step because she refuses to reveal the dark secret behind
their son Arjan’s death.
Aasiya Kazi aka Santu says, “Santu is doing all this to save her
daughter Birwa, who killed Arjan. She has kept her mouth shut and taken
the entire blame.”
The dramatic end of the secret will take place on DM’s birthday
celebration with Birwa revealing the secret to all the members of the
family. Well, it was supposed to be a
surprise birthday party for DM but now, we can only wait to see his
reactions. Will DM and Santu end up coming together again? Only time
will tell.
