Love brews on 'Biggest Loser Jeetega' sets

Losing weight and still throwing it around isn't hard to do. Ask TV channel Sahara's "Biggest Loser Jeetega" contestant Gracious D'Costa, who was driving all the other contestants up the wall.

Gracious, who was in the news recently for collapsing while trying to climb up a wall, has fallen in love with fellow-contestant Muna Aleem. They are both on the show that is all about winning by losing weight.

When contacted, the show's lynchpin and anchor Suniel Shetty refused to comment.

Suniel told IANS: "I'm not supposed to talk about this. But yes, attachments of these kinds are bound to happen. Gracious went through a panic situation while climbing a wall. He needs to be treated with care."

However, a source said that Gracious' growing fondness for Muna is leading to tension in the Blue Team. A full-blown revolt is brewing in the ranks.

"One doesn't know if it was love-sickness or just home-sickness. But yes, Gracious was showing more than a normal interest in Muna. This wasn't going down well with the other contestants, specially those in the Blue Team where Gracious and Muna belonged. So it was a war-like situation," said the source.

But Suniel has become extremely fond of all the contestants.

"It's good to see them become so motivated and lose so much weight," said Suniel.

All the contestants have lost 50-60 pounds.

"One contestant Sandeep looks like a movie star now. Even now as I travel people hound me with questions about 'Biggest Loser Jeetega'. And when I get a message saying, 'You've made fat look beautiful' I feel I'm doing something that's touching lives in unexpected ways."

Suddenly Suniel has become everyone's favourite dietician and psychiatrist.

"I'm being asked the secret formula for losing weight and how to cope with the depression that follows regimented dieting. The biggest winner while doing this show is me."
