version of the popular series Twilight. However, Balaji is yet to finds
the main protagonists Abhay and Pia.

 Marathi culture seems to be the latest funda for Indian Daily soaps
and with five shows which boast of the Marathi flavour as their backdrop
having been launched already, the trend seems to be going strong.
Balaji leads the pack with three shows Bairi Piya, Pavitra Rishta and
the recently launched Sarvagunna Sampanna while Laagi Tujhse Lagan on
Colors and Jhansi ki Rani on Imagine TV form the remaining of the lot
all sharing the Marathi backdrop as the basis for their plots.

 ‘Keshav Pandit’- a character which will represents a mix of Amitabh
of 70’s and Robin Hood is all set to surface on Indian television from
the 15th of May. With this, Balaji Telefilms, for the very first time,
will produce the weekend thriller along with Zee TV. It is an adaptation
of the best selling novels by the famous writer Ved Prakash Sharma. On
the press meet held recently, the COO of Zee TV, Nitin Vaidya, spoke
about the concept and expectation of Zee TV from the show.

 Anandi’s stars aren’t shining this summer. Perhaps, she needs to
consult a noted astrologer to ease her woes. First she got shot, lost
her memory and suffered partial hearing loss (side effect of the gun
shot). Yet another tragedy was averted in ‘Balika Vadhu’ when Anandi
came out unhurt in the fire that broke out in the kitchen.

acting. Neha, who has received special training in dance forms like

popular dance show 'Boogie Woogie'. The actress has already participated
thrice as a contestant on the show and emerged a winner each time!
