 Ragini Khanna of ‘Bhaskar Bharti’ fame had to bid goodbye to her
fans when the show went off air. But this bubbly actress who cannot
stay away from sets will be back in action.
According to grapevine, a new show which is tentatively titled
‘Sasural Genda Phool’ is all set to be aired soon on Star Plus. This
show is said to have Ragini Khanna in lead role and when we asked her
about it she said, “I am doing a show for Mr. Ravi Ojha and it will be
aired on Star Plus, I am already shooting for it.”
Though Ragini refused to divulge any more information about the show
or her role and she just added, “It is too early to reveal the details
but I am happy to be back to work, as I love working.”
Though Ragini does not reveal any details, we got to know through
our little birdie that the serial will also have ‘Palampur Express’
girl Pooja Kanwal in the star cast. Shruti Ulfat will also be seen
playing an important role in the serial along with veterans Supriya
Pilgaonkar and Mahesh Thakur.
The show is said to be an adaptation of popular Bengali serial ‘Ogo
Bodhu Sundori’. Ragini Khanna and Pooja Kanwal will be seen on-screen
after their short break from television, a treat for their fans for
sure!
