Romit Raj all set to promote voter-giri

Romit Raj of Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyaan of Zee definitely has no dearth of female fans thanks to his cute, chocolate boy looks, but this time he has hit the jackpot when he went as a chief guest at the girls college SNDT to promote the importance of voting and ultimately wowed every single person who heard him speak.

The meeting was called jointly by the University and AGNI. It promoted the AGNI campaign theme line, "Kaun Banega Corporator? Aao voter-giri karein!" Nearly 1,000 students, faculty and staff of SNDT University took a pledge to vote in the civic elections on Thursday, February 1. Greeted with noisy enthusiasm from fans, Romit said to the girls, "We Mumbaikars have benefited from this city. Mumbai is a land of opportunities. It provides, employment, better education, better health and Bollywood. We must give back what we owe to the city. We will do that best when we exercise our right to vote on 1st February." He asked the students to do "voter-giri,!!" Way to go Romit, but any plans on joining politics by any chance? We wonder!
