 Shahrukh Khan who stared his journey from television has started
television production under the banner of Red Chillies Idiot Box. Knights and Angels is a talent hunt for cheerleaders for Kolkata Knight
Riders team for Indian Premier League (IPL) presented by Sunsilk. It is
the first time ever reality show which features only girls and winners
be a team of six angels.
Twenty four girl contestants have been mentored and trained by Shiamak
Davar. The names of the 24 contestants are - Pranalika C Arya, Rupali
Kantharia, Natasha Ramaseshan, Sanna Chirawawala, Sneha Parikh, kaajal
R Chandani, Sunanda Hiroo, Prathna Shah, Nisha Rizvi, Nikita Agarwal,
Rekha Rana, Shruti Bhadekar, Leena S Puthran, Geena Jha, Suhani Sharma,
Srishti Gupta, Ananya Bera, Samyukta S, Ruhi Kumari, Shilpa Vashist,
Ritika Chibber, Mohak Nanda, Srishti Bhatia and Prigi.
Pranjal Khandhdiya creative head-non-fiction of Red Chillies Idiot Box,
says,“ Knight and Angels the reality show to hunt for cheerleaders is
going on air from 28th February. The twenty four girls have been
selected after auditions in cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and
Bangalore. The parameters for their selection were dancing skills,
inclination towards sports and over all personality and attitude. The
objective is to encourage sports enthusiasts to take active interest in
cheerleading.”
In an unprecedented first episode alongside Sourav Ganguly, will be
fellow cricketer with a fiery attitude, spinner Murali Karthik and
SRK’s ‘Jodidar’ bollywood co-star Anushka Sharma of Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi
fame.
Purab Kohli is the anchour for Knight and Angels reality show hunting
for cheerleaders which will go on air from Saturday, 28th February at
10.00 p.m. on NDTV Imagine.
