Viraj (Akshay) is a Hollywood stunt man who doesn’t believe in marriage
and lives by the belief that women are good for only two things. When
he comes to know that his younger brother Lucky (Aftab) is getting
married, he rushes to break it off. At the same time the bride,
Kamini’s (Amrita) best friend Simrita (Kareena) too rushes in
dissuading her from getting married to a ‘second hand’ person aka a
stuntman. But it is too late as the couple has already made up their
mind.

The film tells the story of a dancer, Suhani (Gayatri Patel) who wants
to make it big in the showbiz industry without doing any compromises
such as the usual traps of casting couch or sleazy dance numbers in
skimpy outfits. While her journalist roommate isn’t too optimistic
about her aspirations, Gayatri is confident.

Sarvar is a fun loving youth and spends most of his time with his group
of friends staying in a hill station town. His first encounter with the
beautiful Kkhushi is not such a pleasant one as both end up banging
each other’s cars. But slowly friendship develops between the two. In
fact, gradually Sarvar ends up falling in love with the soft spoken
Kkhushi.

Nihal Singh (Jackky) from Chandigarh comes to Mumbai for higher
studies. His college is the typical filmy college where he encounters
seniors (Akshay Kapoor and company) who rag him. But then there is also
the pretty Meesha (Vaishali) who steals his heart the moment he sees
her. But she is a rich snooty gal who looks down upon Nihal and forever
finds reasons to insult him.

Eight year old, Rameshwari (Ritika) loses her mother during her birth
and is brought by her dad, Kunwar Raghavendra Singh (Chandrachur) who
remarries for getting her a mother. While Rameshwari’s stepmom Mohini
is a kind soul of sorts, her mother Kokoi is diabolical character, a
witch whose sole aim is grabbing Raghavendra’s entire property for
which she is even willing to kill the father and daughter.

During her daily ritual of
morning walk, 75 year old Naani (Ava Mukherjee the famous Dabur model) witnesses
a small girl (Saili Shettye) peeping at her nervously. Intrigued, as Naani tries
to find more about the girl she stumbles on a huge racket. In her mission to
unearth the big mystery she is aided by her aspiring detective grandson (Zain
Khan) as also from some unexpected quarters. How her mission ends in a success
and what positive changes this journey brings in the lives of Naani and those
around her form the rest of the plot.

Sonia (Ishita Arun), Tina (Tejaswini Kolhapure), Puja (Gauri Karnik)
and Om (Rohit Bhatia) are four home-mates in Dubai. They together share
a huge apartment and are platonic best friends. While Puja is a host on
an FM channel called Radio Hum, Tina is a stage actress, Sonia runs a
boutique, and Om works in a corporate set up.

The film begins in 1999 Mumbai. Sachin (Kunal Khemu) and Zaramud (Cyrus
Broacha) are two small time crooks who make moolah duplicating mobile
SIM cards. It was a time when mobiles craze was just catching on and
not many people carried mobiles. When cops raid Sachin and Zaramud's
place they steal a posh Mercedes and try to run but end up ramming it
into a lamp post.

It is at times like these that I really hate my job. On a public
holiday getting oneself to a cinema hall and watching two back to back
movies, both extremely unbearable is definitely the worst torture that
one can inflict upon oneself.

The first half of the year 2009 shall be always remembered as the worst
in terms of content for the Bollywood films released in this period.
Just when we thought you can’t get more bad films than what we were
subjected since last few weeks – Lottery, Kisse Pyar Karu etc, here
comes the long stuck in the cans – Ek Se Bure Do.

Nandu (Bobby) and Shekhar (Pradeep
Kharab) are childhood pals who have taken to crime and contract killing at a
very young age. They get mentored by a goon Sawtya (Jackie Shroff) during their
growing up years. Now as grown ups, Nandu becomes the most dreaded assassin in
town and Shekhar his accomplice who always helps him in getting away from the
scene of crime within minutes. Opposition leader Anna Mhatre (Sachin Khedekar)
to create a sympathy wave for himself in the forthcoming Vidhan Sabha elections
hires Nandu to make a false attack on him. According to the plan, Nandu aims a
shot on Anna’s arms who is addressing a huge political rally but before he
shoots, a bullets zips through Anna’s forehead killing him instantly.

From a small town in Punjab,
Chand (Preity) arrives alone in Ontario, Canada, to get married to Rocky
(Vansh). Full of dreams in her eyes of a happy married life, Chand brings along
her, her mom's narrated poems and folktales. But her dreams are shattered on her
wedding night itself.

Veeru (Kunal) meets Jai (Fardeen) in a pub when the latter saves him
from getting beaten up by goons. Veeru is a small time crook who
masters in stealing cars. He convinces Jai, a motor mechanic to join
him and Jai does. But little does Veeru know that Jai is basically on
an undercover mission to nab underworld don Tejpal (Arbaaz) for whom
Veeru works for. When Veeru comes to know about Jai’s reality a scuffle
follows. During this, Jai accidentally gets shot by Veeru who manages
to escape the country.
