Mano Murthy's magic works in 'Cheluvina...'

The release of new film albums may bring changes in the list in the next few weeks. But as of now, "Cheluvina Chiththaara", "Mungaru Male" and "Hudugaata" continue to rule the charts.

The top five Kannada albums are:

1. "Cheluvina Chiththaara" - With the film completing 50 days, the sales of the album have increased. Music director Mano Murthy's magic still works. "Ullasada hoo male", "Kanaso idhu", "Janumada gelati" and "Iralaaare cheluve" have become hugely popular songs.

2. "Mungaru Male" - Though the film's box-office collections have begun to dip, the album continues to enjoy brisk sales. All the songs in the album have become raging hits.

3. "Duniya" - Just one song, "Kariya, I love you", has brought the album to this spot on the list. The duet is the highlight of the album, which was composed by V. Manohar.

4. "Hudugaata" - Malayalam music director Jassie Gift has scored big success with his debut Kannada album. Though Gift has lifted the tunes of two of his Malayalam compositions, it is the original "Eno Onthara" that has become extremely popular.

5. "Maathaad Maathaad Mallige" - The much-hyped film has yet to hit the screens, but the album is selling like hot cakes. Mano Murthy is the music director.
