Mano Murthy's compositions dominate music chart

The introduction of new albums has brought about some alterations in the list, but it is an all Mano Murthy show with his compositions occupying the first four slots.

The top five Kannada albums are:

1. "Cheluvina Chiththaara" - Mano Murthy's music, assisted by meaningful lyrics by director S. Narayan, has made this a hugely popular album. The film's big box-office success has also contributed to the album's high sales. "Ullasadha hoomale", "Kanasidho nanasidho" and "Janumadha gelathi" remain popular.

2. "Mungaru Male" - It is difficult to displace the album, again from Mano Murthy, from the list. "Anisuthide yaako eno" and "Kunidu kunidu baare" will remain etched in the listeners' memory for some time to come.

3. "Mathadu Mathadu Mallige" - Mano Murthy's magic works again. "Namma mane aramane", "Ella maya" and "Banna bannada" are big hits.

4. "Milana" - The audio of the film starring Puneet Rajkumar was released two weeks ago and has been selling well in Bangalore and Mysore areas. "Ninnindhale, ninnindhale" by Sonu Nigam is the most popular number.

5. "Duniya"- The album from V. Manohar owes its popularity chiefly to the song "Kariya I love you".
