'Pranayasandhya' the most popular Malayalam song

This list remains the same as in the previous fortnight except
for the inclusion of "Pranayasandhya" from "Ore Kadal"
The top five Malayalam songs are:
1. "Pranayasandhya" - Film: "Ore Kadal"; Music: Ousepachan; Lyrics:
Gireesh Puthenchery; Singer: Bombay Jayashree. The haunting voice
of the singer gels well with dilemma of the protagonist played by
Meera Jasmine.
2. "Kolakuzhal" - Film: "Naivedhyam"; Music: M. Jayachandran.
Lyrics: Lohithadas; Singers: Vijay Yesudas and Swetha. The film may
have disappointed the audience, but youngsters Vinumohan and
Sathyabhama are getting wide recognition as their songs are
repeatedly played on music channels.
3. "Adimegha" - Film: "Alibhai"; Music: Alex Paul. Lyrics: Gireesh
Puthenchery; Singer: M.G. Sreekumar. The film has everything that a
fan desires from a Mohanlal film - even the Kaavadi song sung by
Sreekumar.
4. "Thirike" - Film: "Arabikatha"; Music: Bijibal; Lyrics: Anil
Panachooran; Singer: Yesudas. The film's popularity is helping the
music stay on the charts.
5. "Kadukkittu" - Film: "Hello"; Music: Alex Paul; Lyrics: Sarath
Varma; Singers: M.G. Sreekumar and Sangeetha Prabhu. Actor
Mohanlal's all-round ability is on display here, with the megastar
dancing and making merry.
