Film: "Om Shanti Om"; Music Director: Vishal-Shekhar; Singers:
Shreya Ghoshal, Shaan, Sonu Nigam, K.K., Rahat Fateh Ali Khan,
Richa Sharma, Sunidhi Chauhan, Udit Narayan, Sukhwinder, Caralisa,
Marianne D'Cruz, Nisha Mascarenhas, Rahul Saxena, Abhijeet;
Ratings: *** Farah Khan's second directorial venture is ready to
hit the theatres. While the movie is a much-anticipated one, the
music is getting mixed reviews from all over. Composed by the
contemporary duo Vishal-Shekhar, the soundtrack of "Om Shanti Om"
is an amalgamation of songs that belong to an earlier age.

Film: "Laaga Chunari Mein Daag"; Music Director: Shantanu
Moitra; Singers; Shreya Ghoshal, Sunidhi Chauhan, Shubha Mudgal,
K.K., Sonu Nigam, Babul Supriyo, Swanand Kirkire, Pranab Biswas,
Mahalaxmi Iyer, Mita Vashisht, Rekha Bharadwaj; Rating: ***
Shantanu Moitra returns after his classic "Parineeta" to compose a
soundtrack for the multi-starrer "Laaga Chunari Mein Daag". While
fans of Moitra's genre will be delighted with the album, others
wouldn't be disappointed either as he creates a soundtrack that is
different, encompasses melody and doesn't miss out on the Indian
classical touch.

Film: "Bhool Bhulaiya"; Music Director: Pritam; Singers: K.K.,
Neeraj Sridhar, Tulsi Kumar, Shaan, M.G. Sreekumar, DJ Amyth, DJ
Kiran, DJ G & Earl; Rating: *** The music album of "Bhool
Bhulaiya" is an absolute listener's delight. Composed by Pritam
and with lyrics by Sameer, the soundtrack is a pleasure to listen
to and would definitely rope in huge profits.

Film: "Aggar"; Music Director: Mithoon; Singers: Qurram, Rup,
Roop Kumar Rathod, Tulsi Kumar, Sharmishtha, Mithoon, Hamza, Shilpa
Rao, Kshitij; Rating: **1/2 Composer Mithoon provides variety in
the album, but one thing is common to all tracks - romance and
passion.

Film: Nanhe Jaisalmer; Music Director: Himesh Reshammia;
Singers: Himesh Reshammiya, Sonu Nigam, Sunidhi Chauhan, Vineet,
Jayesh Gandhi; Ratings: *1/2 Though the pairing of music director
Himesh Reshammiya with lyricist Sameer has produced major hits in
the past, they fail to make heads turn with "Nanhe Jaisalmer". The
soundtrack comprises a couple of tracks with some folk in it and
also has classic Reshammiya numbers that hardly create a stir.

Film: "Go"; Music Director: Sneha Kanwalkar, Prasanna Shekhar,
Amar Mohile; Singers: Kunal Ganjawala, Sunidhi Chauhan, Suzanne,
Sneha Kanwalkar, Meenal Jain, Vinod Rathod, Priyadarshini, Farhad
Bhiwandiwala; Ratings: ** Ram Gopal Varma's (RGV) music doesn't
always get the cash registers ringing, yet his thriller background
scores always make a mark. With his next film "Go", this, too,
fails to happen. Let's see how.

Album: "Dhamaal"; Music Director: Adnan Sami; Singers: Adnan
Sami, Shaan, Amit Kumar, Asha Bhosle, Naveen, Raghav Sachar, DJ
Sandeep Shirodkar; Ratings: *1/2. All-boys seems to be the theme
for Indra Kumar's "Dhamaal" - not only is the star cast packed
with male stars like Arshad Warsi, Sanjay Dutt, Riteish Deshmukh,
Ashish Chaudhary and Sohail Khan but the singers list too is
crowded with men like Adnan Sami, Shaan and Amit Kumar.

Film: "Darling"; Music Directors: Pritam, Himesh Reshammiya and
Prasana Shekhar; Singers: Shaan, Himesh Reshammiya, Sunidhi
Chauhan, Tulsi Kumar, Priyadarshini, Adnan Sami; Ratings: **1/2 It
seems director Ram Gopal Varma is keen to be different with his
film music; hence he has roped in Pritam as the main composer for
the soundtrack of his film "Darling".

Film: "Jahan Jaaeyega Hamen Paaeyega"; Music Director: Aadesh
Srivastav; Singers: Aadesh Srivastav, Udit Narayan, Sneha Pant,
Sunidhi Chauhan; Ratings: * A terribly delayed film, "Jahan
Jaaeyega Hamen Paaeyega" (JJHP) stars Govinda, Divya Dwivedi and
Shivani Shivananda. As far as the music is concerned, JJHP is of
the kind that would fade away without anyone realising the same. It
has little chance of making it to any music charts.

Film: "Chak de India"; Music Director: Salim-Suleiman; Singers:
K.K., Sukhwinder Singh, Anushka Manchandani, Hema Sardesai,
Marianne D'cruz, Salim Merchant, Shah Rukh Khan and Krishna
Medieval Punditz; Rating: ** "Chak De India", a much-awaited Yash
Raj Film starring Shah Rukh Khan, is set to hit the screens but the
music isn't really making waves. Composer duo Salim-Suleiman have
not done anything extraordinary or exciting.

Film: "Marigold"; Music Director: Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy; Singers:
Shaan, Vikas Bhalla, Alka Yagnik, Truth Hurts, Ali Larter, Nihira
Joshi, Sneha Pant, Nikita Nigam; Ratings: *1/2 The music of the
Salman Khan-starring Hollywood flick "Marigold" is quite a
disappointment, especially when you know it has been composed by
none other than Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, the ruling kings of Bollywood
music.

Film: "Heyy Babyy"; Music Director: Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy; Singers:
Shankar Mahadevan, Loy, Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghoshal, Shaan, Neeraj
Sridhar, Rehan Khan, Salim Shehzada, Sajid Khan, Pervez Quadir,
Raman, Girl Band; Ratings: *** Sajid Khan's debut film's promos
are out and going by the looks, the movie seems to be fun, youthful
and full of energy like that of his sister Farha Khan's
directorial debut "Main Hoon Na". And the music is not far behind
as Khan has roped in Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy for the soundtrack.

Film: "Cash"; Music Director: Vishal Dadlani, Shekhar Ravjiani;
Singers: Sunidhi Chauhan, Vishal Dadlani, Shekhar Ravjiani, Anushka
Manchandani; Ratings: *** "Cash" is all about loads of bikes,
action, stunts and music. Directed by Anubhav Sinha, the soundtrack
of the movie has been composed by Vishal and Shekhar who haven't
really put their skills to good use. Only two numbers make their
mark.
