The highly anticipated Telugu film 'Mangala' recently completed its shooting schedule and reports suggest that the movie will be released very soon.  'Mangala' has been directed by Osho Tulasiram, he has also written the story and the screenplay for the movie. Tulasiram has produced the movie himself under the banner of Mantra Entertainments Mangala.

Indian audiences are acquainted with the sequels of Bollywood films but they are not habituated to see the sequels of any television serial. Even the most popular television serials have not come up with a sequel yet. Now, here is an exception. Balaji Telefilm’s show ‘Kitni Mohabbat Hai’ is coming up  with a second season next month.

Although the South Indian filmmaker Priyadarshan boasts of being the best filmmaker, he has been going through remakes constantly all throughout his career. Most of his Hindi films have been a remake of Malayalam comedy capers or inspiration from Hollywood movies. Be his Garam Masala, which was a remake of ‘Boeing Boeing’ or Malamaal Weekly adapted from Richard Holmes’ Waking Ned, it has been blatant replicas.

Mugamudi was supposed to be the first South Indian super-hero film, which was to be produced by Ayngaran International with a huge budget. Due to some unavoidable issues, Mysskin and Ayngaran International parted ways. Indeed these producers aren’t willing to release Mysskin’s 'Nandhalala' as they were sure that it would pit them into a terrific disaster. Thus Mugamudi, which was to go on floors by the beginning of 2010 with Suriya in lead role, has been shelved.

Indian television viewers will experience a different kind of family drama from tonight as Sony Entertainment Television is going to launch a new show titled ‘Saas Bina Sasural’. Viewers will get a much needed break from the ‘saas bahu’ drama and will be entertained by a family with seven male members.

Bollywood actor Sonu Sood received a lot of appreciation for his performance in Salman Khan starrer Dabangg. His performance has caught the attention of several filmmakers. It seems that the actor has been successful in impressing the Hollywood directors too. Taiwanese American film director, Ang Lee of Hulk fame, has reportedly cast Sonu Sood in his next project.

Suriya’s debut in Bollywood  isn’t going to be as easy as he ever thought of.  The actor makes his entry into the Hindi film industry with Ram Gopal Varma’s directorial venture Raktha Charithra. Both Hindi and Telugu versions will be released in two parts while Tamil version titled Rattha Charithram will be in a single part.

Sonam Kapoor, the Masakalli gal from Delhi 6, is reportedly not feeling well these days. It was just a few days back when it had been reported that the B-town lass had fallen sick in Canada, while shooting for the Anees Bazmi flick ‘ThankYou’, starring her in the lead with macho action hunk Akshay Kumar, so, she had to be sent back to Mumbai, for treatment.

The current track Colors’ show ‘Na Aana Is Des Laado’ is focusing on Ammaji trying to abort Sia’s pregnancy, who is expecting a girl child. Soon, there will be a situation where Ammaji will try to harm Sia by putting poison in her milk. At this point of time, Mallika Sherawat will enter the serial as Naag Maata (snake Goddess) and drink the poisoned milk for Sia thus saving her.

Italian fashion retailer Giorgio Armani revealed in a recent statement that his fashion label has no plans to further explore markets in India. However this does not mean that the Armani fashion range will not make it to the Indian markets in the future. In fact John Hooks, the Deputy Chairman of the Giorgio Armani Group, is of the opinion that the label will use this time to conduct a detailed research of the Indian market, so that when they do launch their brand, they can do so without committing any mistake.

The shooting schedule for Nagarjuna’s next film Rajanna has commenced. The upcoming movie will be directed by the renowned Vijayendra Prasad. The new film is being produced by Akkineni Nagarjuna himself under the banner of Annapurna Studios.  The film’s shooting schedule started off amidst much fanfare at the ‘Maryada Ramanna’ house set in Kokapet. It goes without saying that megastar Nagarjuna is playing the lead role in the upcoming flick.
