Is ‘Kutrappirivu’ on the lines of ‘Kaakha Kaakha’?

 Perhaps, Srikanth’s previous films might not have done yielded
favorable results, but the actor is sure about making it big with his
upcoming release ‘Kutrappirivu’. The film has been simultaneously made
in Tamil and Telugu titled ‘Police Police’.
The film brings together Srikanth and Prithviraj as police officers
with Kamalini Mukherji and Sanjana starring opposite them in female lead
roles. Last time, we saw Srikanth and Prithviraj together were in K.V.
Anand’s debut directorial ‘Kana Kanden’, which happened to be a
new-fangled thriller.
This time, the duo enacts the role of police officers embarking a
journey of putting an end to flagitious activities of Naxalites. The
film is produced by Divya Pictures and Green Apple Films with Manmohan
wielding the megaphone. Manisharma’s assistant Vishwa makes his debut as
a music director while Selva, once an associate of Peter Hein
choreographs action sequences for this film.
Turning lights on this film, director Manmohan has mentioned that
there are no similarities between Kaakha Kaakha and his Kutrappirivu
apart from the factor that both are cop based stories.
