Juhi’s second flick in Mollywood

 The gorgeous former Miss India, Juhi Chawla, had debuted as an
actress in 1986 with the movie Sultanat. She has won the hearts of the
people with movies like Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak and Yes Boss. The elegant
actress has done over 70 mainstream Bollywood movies and also starred
in some Punjabi movies. The critics have praised her work in movies like
My Brother Nikhil, Jhankar Beats and the likes. She has worked in
parallel cinema as well. She has also done a couple of Tollywood and
Kollywood movies.
The latest buzz about Juhi is that she will soon start working on a
Malayalam movie called Gaatha. This would be her second movie in
Mollywood. The first being a big budget movie with Mollywood superstars
Mammootty and Mohanlal titled Harikrishnans in 1998 directed by Fazil.
The film had created a lot of hype as it was Juhi’s first movie in
Malayalam.
Gaatha is going to be directed by National award winning Malayalam
director Shaji N Karun. Reportedly Shaji had first considered Madhuri
Dixit and Jaya Bachchan for the role but finally zeroed in on Juhi. The
film is supposedly based on the story Kadal.
Juhi will be starring with Mohanlal again for this movie. The movie’s
shoot would mostly start at Ladakh by next month.
