Actress Shruti Haasan, the multi-talented daughter of veteran superstar Kamal Haasan, is hitting headlines these days for some personal reasons! The actress is making her Telugu debut with Anaganaga Oka Dheerudu but that is not the news. It is her close association with co-star Siddharth that makes things spicy for the fans.

South Indian actor Prithvi has been seriously injured in an accident while filming a song sequence for his upcoming Kollywood venture Pathinettan Kudi. The actor is presently housed at the Apollo Hospital in Madurai, the location where the shooting was taking place, and doctors have announced that his injury is serious. Prithvi suffered serious burns after fire caught on in the Melur area of Madurai, where the crew of Pathinettan Kudi was filming a song to be used in the film. Also present with Prithvi during the shooting of the song, apart from the technicians, was his costars in the movie Sri Nisha and Singam Puli.

Actress Lakshmi Rai had virtually vanished from the Telugu movie scenario after she started work and subsequently tasted success in the Malayalam film industry. But this year, Lakshmi Rai will stage a comeback in the Telugu film industry with none other than veteran Tollywood actor Nandamuri Balakrishna. The much talked upcoming Tamil movie Vaanam has completed almost 90% of shooting and will be ready to release after shooting just parts of a song. The Simbu-Anushka starrer film is all set to release in February during the Valentine’s weekend.

Kamal Haasan was obstinate over not succumbing to the protests of Hindu Makkal Katchi that insisted him to delete the song ‘Kannodu’ (Kamal Kavidhai’ from his upcoming release Manmadhan Ambu. The actor justified that there is no need to delete the song as it doesn’t carry any such factors hurting the feelings of Hindu community.

Traditionally, no woman who has attained puberty and has not reached the menopausal stage can enter the famed temple in Kerala. Therefore actress Jayamala has committed a crime in not only entering the temple, but also laying her hands upon the deity.
