Prithvi In Critical Condition After Fire Accident

 South Indian actor Prithvi has been seriously injured in an accident
while filming a song sequence for his upcoming Kollywood venture Pathinettan Kudi.
The actor is presently housed at the Apollo Hospital in Madurai, the
location where the shooting was taking place, and doctors have announced
that his injury is serious. Prithvi suffered serious burns after fire
caught on in the Melur area of Madurai, where the crew of Pathinettan Kudi
was filming a song to be used in the film. Also present with Prithvi
during the shooting of the song, apart from the technicians, was his
costars in the movie Sri Nisha and Singam Puli.
The
crew members are still reeling from the shock of the fire mishap and
though anybody cannot be sure about the exact cause of the fire, a
possible explanation can be that excess petrol was used to create the
ring of fire within which Prithvi had to enter, which led to a raging
fire on the sets of Pathinettan Kudi. Any other cast or crew member has not been injured in the accident.
Prithvi
is the son of veteran actor and director Padiarajan and it has been
reported that his family members rushed to Madurai from their hometown
Chennai to be with Prithvi as he is recuperating in the Apollo Hospital.
The shooting of Pathinettan Kudi has been stalled for a few days following Prithvi’s accident.
