South Indian superstar Vikram has agreed to work in filmmaker Roshan
Andrews’s next Malayalam flick for free. The Raavanan star wants to pay
back to his audience for showing so much of affection to his movies.
The actor said, “Yes, I will be doing the film for free as I owe it
to the people of Kerala. I want to give something back to them for their
love”.
Roshan Andrews is directing Vikram in this Malayalam movie, which is
likely to go on floors by next year. Bobby and Sanjay duo has penned the
script for this movie. Vikram considers this as his gift to the
Malayalam audience, who had been waiting to see him in a straight
Malayalam movie.
The sources informed that the director met Vikram in Chennai last
Friday at his seaside bungalow and narrated the script. He loved the
narration of Roshan’s story and agreed to work in this Malayalam film.
But the actor committed to start working in this film only by next year
after finishing all his assignments in Tamil industry.
An elated Roshan said, “In spite of his busy schedule, a big star
like Vikram has found out some time and listened to my story for two
hours. He listened very carefully with full attention and then shook my
hand saying that he would do this movie next year. He said that he needs
to complete his commitments in Tamil before that”.
Well, it’s definitely an exemplary gesture from a star like Vikram to his fans!
