Vimala dying to play a Devdasi

Malayalam-Tamil actress Vimala Raman wants to do the role of a 'devdasi' or a temple courtesan in a film.

Vimala, who has recently dropped her surname, says she is keen to do the role because she has read "so much" about them. She has another ambition - she wants to play the role of Cleopatra.
