Dear Ms Rai,
To begin with I'm a huge fan of yours and I admire your grace on the screen.
I am an Indian 17-year old girl who is studying International Baccalaureate in Sweden whereas I am for the moment writing a term paper which happens to be about you. I have chosen to write a sort of interview connected to my language and culture option I have recently been studying. I was wondering if there is by any chance of me getting a reply on some of my questions or an interview at all of your point of views on the English language perhaps being a huge influence on your career but also in the Bollywood film makings. Also most importantly if the Indian films hadn't been as famous worldwide hadn't it been for the English language?
I would gladly want a reply if you are interested in answering. It's an interesting topic and I thought you would be the most suitable person to ask when it comes to celebrity and life in the films where the English language can have a huge impact and not only due to historical events taken place many years ago. I personally thinik shes fake but hey.. there's no proof that she is.. just like there's no proof she ISNT.. Anywayz.. The only reason why she's well known is because of her beautiful face structure and ofcourse her big "blye-green" (which I think are contacts..) eyes. That's how she became popular in India. Some of the comments here show how difficult it is to please everyone and I am glad Ash hasn't tried but has always been herself. I feel that Aishwarya used to be a very good person. When i saw her in her first film, i thought she would make it as an actress. But now, i saw her true colors, and she isnt really a great person. Have read a few comments about Ash, and I agree that all views should be respected. However, most comments are on how beautiful she is. Well we all know that, and no one can deny that she is. BUT as far as acting goes, she has a long way to go. So far, of the movies I have seen of her, she cannot show the raw, or realistic emotions. She doesn't seem to step into the shoes of her character all that well, and that's why it comes across as a failure. With a good director, perhaps she may succeed. Beauty alone doesn't do the trick when it comes to acting. Sushmita Sen is not as beautiful as Ash, but she definitely has more acting skills than Ash! My personal opinion is that if you don't have the personality & character to match the external beauty, then it doesn't mean much. I have never met Ash but if she is a good person on the inside, then great. Overall, I think people should move off the beauty aspect of Ash and concentrate more on her as a person and actor. Physical beauty is not forever, but the non-physical beauty is. |
