New Bollywood film "Awarapan", which deals with the miseries of
a Pakistani girl who is trafficked to Hong Kong and her desire to
be free, is running to packed houses in Pakistan, its main actor
says.
"Awarapan", directed by Mohit Suri, opened in Pakistan Friday
and got "a tremendous response", said Emraan Hashmi, who stars in
the movie with Shriya Saran and newcomer Mrinalini Sharma.
"This is tremendous response from the people of Pakistan," Hashmi
told IANS. "This is what we were expecting. Theatres in Karachi,
Lahore and Multan are running full and there is advance booking
also, which is a great sign."
