Bipasha Basu to feature in mobile games

Mobile gamers and fans of Bipasha Basu have a lot to look forward to. Games publishing company Jump Games Tuesday announced its two-year, worldwide contract with her to create and distribute a serial of mobile games featuring the glamorous Bollywood actor.

The first game of the series will be titled "Bipasha Basu Jet Ski Champ". In the game Bipasha will be seen as a master Jet Ski rider challenging the world's best to an adrenalin-pumping jet-ski ride across exotic circuits.

Bipasha's fans will be able to play as a character in Jump Games' latest speed fest.

"This is something novel for me and I am looking forward to a fruitful gamming association with Jump Games," said the actor.

"Through these games my fans will get to see the athletic, adventurous and skillful side of me," said Bipasha, who is an avid sports fan.

"It's (the game) a conscious effort to choose my films and related work to bring out my sporty, exploratory persona. Lets hope my fan like it.

"Bipasha is one of the most successful celebrity brands around today and her personality lends wonderfully to games. We are hopeful that the titles created for her will do well," Jump Games CEO Salil Bhargava told IANS.

"Apart from this game, there are two other titles in the pipeline, which will feature Bipasha in completely different avatars. One will be a casual title based on the popular urban sport of bowling. The second title will have Bipasha playing a sci-fi princess all set to save the planet from galactic enemies," Bhargava said.

In India, Jump's games can be accessed and played on networks like Hutch, Idea, BSNL and Reliance World.
