 There was report recently that beauty queen turned Bollywood actress
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has denied to endorse the products of French
Dairy Company Danone. However, the company has now released an official
statement saying that they had never approached her to endorse their
products in India.
Danone rubbished this incorrect claim by the Aishwarya’s publicist
that obviously rebukes the brand Danone. The official statement of the
company read that the brand was never approached by the publicist and
such a false statement has caused irreparable damage and reputational
harm to Danone's business goodwill.
The publicist of the actress made an announcement recently that she
is not endorsing the brand after many tabloids reported that Danone has
approached Ash.
The world’s no. 1 dairy company has also made it clear that they do
not have any future plan to approach the actress for endorsing any of
their products.
The statement read that Danone would like to inform all its
consumers, patrons and shareholders that it never approached Mrs.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for endorsing any of their products. The
company’s stand reflects that it has been offended by the harsh remarks
by the actress’ publicist in media regarding the endorsement deal.
Whatever be the actual deal, now it is cleared by both the parties in media so there will be no much confusion about it!
