Deja vu for Amitabh Bachchan at Leeds

Amitabh Bachchan got extremely emotional on receiving a doctorate from the Leeds Metropolitan University.
"What
makes this doctorate really special is the fact that I've received it
in Britain. To be thus decorated in the country where my father
(Harivansh Rai Bachchan) got his doctorate at Cambridge, and that too
in my father's centenary year, makes this a very emotional experience
for me," Amitabh told IANS.
The Big B also felt humbled by the
experience. "My doctorate can never be compared with my father's. But
this is a moment that I'll cherish forever."
Well-known
director Yash Chopra and veteran actress Shabana Azmi were also
honoured along with Amitabh Saturday at the university.
This is
the second time an honorary degree has been conferred on Amitabh by a
British University. The De Montfort University in Leicester had
honoured Amitabh with an honorary Doctor of Arts degree on July 19,
2006 in recognition of his distinguished career in films.
