Is 'Tees Maar Khan' A Copy Of 'After The Fox'?

Farah Khan’s upcoming movie Tees Maar Khan has indeed given rise to a lot of interest and speculation about it being a heist film with the biggest train robbery and also due to its mind blowing music with peppy dance numbers and the lead female star Katrina Kaif in a sexy glamorous look. The male lead, Akshay Kumar portraying a conman’s character is also the talk of the town.

However, recent reports doing the rounds say that the film is a copy of the Italian movie -'After the Fox'. This movie had Peter Sellers in the role of a conman who gets into the biggest haul ever with his big theft of gold. He then tries to hide his booty in some village by pretending of making a film or something. Thus sources reveal that Akshay Kumar’s role in TMS is based on this very character played by Peter Sellers in the 1966 movie.

Farah Khan is an excellent film maker and has the distinct quality of making all the characters in her film come alive with very strong personalities. Her last film Om Shanti Om was a blockbuster hit and this is one movie which is being awaited by one and all with bated breath.
