The
sudden death of Mani Ratnam's elder brother G. Srinivasan has left the
maverick director shell-shocked. Srinivasan was on a holiday with his
family in Manali when the accident happened.
"G.S.
(G. Srinivasan) was such a nice guy. To die like this while on a
holiday with his wife and children is not done. He sneezed and fell
into a 20-feet deep gorge. What a horrible way to die," R. Madhavan,
who has worked in the maximum number of films with Ratnam, told IANS.
Srinivasan produced two of Mani Ratnam's films -"Yuva" and "Guru".
"Mani
was very close to his brother. G.S. looked after all of Mani's business
interests. Mani is being very brave about it. But it's a tragedy he
won't be able to get over in a long time," added Madhavan.
Abhishek Bachchan, just back from his honeymoon, rushed to met Ratnam on Tuesday.
