Priyanka Chopra Dons Many Hats!

 Priyanka Chopra is a talented actress and has won the critics praises
with her power packed performances in many films. Recently Priyanka is
hogging all the limelight as the buzz is doing the rounds that Priyanka
has got engaged to Shahid Kapoor. However, not many people from the
industry is aware of the fact that the ex Miss World is a poetess too.
Priyanka
stint as a poetess came to the forefront at a recent awards show for
woman. The award ceremony was held to pay a tribute to the spirit of
womanhood. Priyanka took everyone by surprise by writing some lines for
veteran actresses like Saira Banu, Hema Malini and Madhuri Dixit.
Priyanka
thinks differently than the rest and wanted to make the award ceremony
special. Sources added that Priyanka was not very keen to abide by the
script that was given to her by the organizers. Time was running fast
and the award ceremony was just about to begin when Priyanka and Rowena
Baweja, the conceptualiser of the award ceremony penned down some
thoughts for the three actresses. The shayaris in the names of the
actresses were done in an hour and Priyanka even finished the voice over
for the audio visuals.
A source close to Priyanka Chopra adds
that she loves to write shayaris and she has recently read Rumi and
Ghalib. Priyanka has been penning down her thoughts whenever she finds
the time. However, Priyanka does not like to discuss about it. A close
friend to Priyanka also adds that Priyanka does not get enough time to
write poetry as she is busy with her professional commitments.
