Sanjay Dutt comedy lifted from Pink Panther series

 The famous Pink Panther series which is now in news
for Aishwarya Rai playing a negative role in the latest one – titled
Pink Panther has given birth to a Bollywood imitation. It is learnt
that Sanjay Dutt’s upcoming film Chatur Singh Two Star will have Sanjay
Dutt playing a character based on the ever bumbling but intelligent
Inspector Clouseau played by Steve Martin in the comic series.
The Dutt starrer just like the Pink Panther series is also about a
famous robber whom the hero despite his idiotic demeanor manages to nab
successfully at the end. Sources reveal that just like Martin, Dutt too
shall sport a wig for his role of Chatur Singh in Mohammed Aslam
produced - Chatur Singh -Two Star. Dutt who plays the role of a junior
rank inspector in the film has a very different look, which he has not
done so far, and this will be the first time Dutt is planning to use a
wig.
But copy or no copy Dutt seems to be very excited about his role and
the film as he has never played such a funny character. Director Ajay
Chandhok tells us that they had ordered a special wig from London made
by Hollywood wig specialist and prosthetic make up artist, Mike
Stringer. Sanju sports a Hitler –ish wig with a side partition along
with a fine moustache. Sanju recommended Mike's name to the filmmaker
for the wig and Mike's team flew down to Bombay for Sanju's
measurements. In addition, after six weeks Voila – Sanju was ready with
his new look. The entire team was excited with his new look in the
film. “This is going to be one of Sanjay Dutt's best performances after
Munnabhai series." says Chandok confidently.
