 The ash clouds are hovering not only over Europe, they seem to be
playing havoc with schedules and destinies in distant Bollywood as well. The most severely affected project is Pankaj Kapoor’s Mausam, which
was meant to start with a brief schedule last month in Scotland. Just
then the first burst of ash-clouds enveloped the European skies. And the
schedule had to be cancelled in the hope that the Mausam team would
make up for lost time in the next schedule.
However, Shahid's and his father’s proposed travel plans to Scotland
this week had to be cancelled again because of the ash clouds.
The Mausam crew was booked for Edinburgh on16 May. For the second
time their trip was cancelled, thereby creating a panic situation within
the unit.
Shahid and his father are now scheduled to fly to Scotland on 22 May.
God and Nature willing.
In the meantime, Shahid is just chilling.
Confirming the unscheduled setbacks to Mausam he says, “I’m just
chilling with family and friends. There’s no point worrying about things
that are out of one’s control.”
