 Bollywood stars were once placed in a very higher position with a lot
of respect but they are slowly losing out that position due to their
own acts. Some of them even don’t mind to dance at various wedding
occasions of rich businessmen or say some other rich person and the only
reason is that they are offered a huge amount of money for shaking a
leg for those few hours!
Recently, the famous Delhi gutka baron invited high profile Bollywood
stars like Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif, Kangana Ranaut,
Ameesha Patel and Arshad Warsi to perform at a wedding of their family.
However, these stars denied to perform and the reason was not that they
did not want to perform at a wedding just because they did not want to
involve themselves with any income tax enquiry.
Actually, Income Tax department started an inquiry process with the
Bollywood stars. The Income Tax department has been investigating into
which stars are performing at this big budget weddings and how much they
are being paid. This has demoralized our stars from performing at the
wedding.
There is a buzz that the gutka baron was paying a quite big amount of
total Rs 25 crore to these stars to shake a leg at the wedding. The
stars had supposedly agreed to perform earlier and they were made an
advance payment by the Gutka baron too. Shah Rukh Khan was reportedly
offered a whopping amount of Rs 4 crores, then next higher amount of Rs 2
crore was offered to Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif was convinced with Rs
1 crore.
The hot couple of Bollywood Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor were
reportedly offered Rs 2 crore but they denied to perform to keep
themselves away from any kind of controversy.
Well, the stars are avoiding the wedding only to stay away from
controversy but what about their so called starry status then? They earn
quite a good amount just appearing in an endorsement and the films are
the most respectable way of earning for them. Then why these stars even
think of performing at a wedding just to get some extra money? Is money
everything for them, don’t they think of maintaining a respectable
position by not dancing at the weddings like any small time actor?
