Remember
Sadhana Singh who created a storm in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh as the
leading lady in Rajshri Production's "Nadiya Ke Paar"? Her daughter
Sheena is now set to make her debut with "Tere Sang".
Sheena
stepped into the film after director Satish Kaushik's original choice
Yamini Sharma had to be dropped. The film is a joint production by
Anupam Kher and Kaushik.
"If you remember, I had selected
Yamini in Chandigarh after seeing her at a protest on television. But
she turned out to be wrong for the role. My film 'Tere Sang' required
two very innocent people. That's when Sheena came into the picture,"
Satish told IANS.
She is going to be paired with newcomer
Ruslaan, son of yesteryears TV star Anjana Mumtaz. Ruslaan made his
debut in the recently released "Mera Pehla Pehla Pyaar" (MP3).
"Both
the youngsters have it in their genes. Though Ruslaan already has one
release, he and Sheena will never look like a tried pair."
