 Aired on Star One, ‘Pyaar Kii Ye Ek Kahaani’ is the latest offering
from the Balaji Telefilms stables and the Indian take on the popular
'Twilight' novels of Stephenie Meyer. As the desi versions of Edward
Cullen and Bella Swan, Abhay Raichand and Piya Jaiswal are doing well to
grab eyeballs and TRPs.
Will Piya be able to confess her love for Abhay? And will Abhay ever
accept her? While these questions were doing the rounds in our minds for
a long time now, Piya did confess at least to herself that she thinks
she is falling for him. Though the girl thought that she was speaking to
Abhay, he was nowhere to be seen when the lights finally came on
disturbing Piya’s dream sequence. And while Piya decides that she needs
to avoid Abhay, destiny throws her into his lap when she realizes that
he is the only person who can help her to solve her friend Maya’s
problem.
On the other hand, Maya is in hospital after she was injured in an
accident inside the Mount College campus. Though Piya initially thought
that Abhay is the father of the child that Maya is carrying, a shocking
turn of events have proved that Danish, the blue-eyed boy of college is
the culprit. Yes, the same Danish who is now getting engaged to Panchi,
Piya’s friend Misha’s sister and who according to Panchi’s parents is
the ideal son in law! With only a photo in her hand as proof, Piya
decides to confront Danish and make him confess his crime in spite of
Maya telling her not to. Danish does accept that he is the father of the
unborn child but he is not prepared to let go off Panchi as her family
means a lot to his status in society.
Instead of being scared, Danish threatens Piya that anybody who will
try to come in his and Panchi’s way will be finished forever. He also
tries to turn Kabir against Piya by saying false things about her. Abhay
does come to Piya’s rescue when Danish tries to stifle her but cannot
interfere when Kabir snatches Piya’s phone and accidentally drops it in
water. This means that Piya has lost the last clue which can prove to
the world that Danish is the father of Maya’s child. Will Abhay be able
to help her and will they fall in love in the process?
