who's who of Kollywood were also present at the event, amongst them
filmmakers, Shankar, Ameer, Lingusamy, Mahendran, Sivasakthi Pandian, V.
C. Guhanathan, Rama Narayanan, Vairamuthu and Parthiban. Addressing the
special invitees, Aishwarya said, "Working with Shankar has been a real
learning experience. He is a brilliant person, with astounding
technical knowledge. This evening belongs to the director, Thamira, and
music director, Karthik Raja - they have done a marvellous job with the
music of this film."
Aishwarya was so taken in by the songs and the trailor of the film,
that she personally requested Shankar for a screening. Actor Parthiban
walked on to the dais saying, "Usually, we compare our girls to
Aishwarya Rai, when we speak of beauty. And imagine, here I am, praising
Aishwarya herself."
Filmmakers K. Balachandar and Bharathiraja spoke of their experiences
of working with each other. Rettai Suzhi features these two actors in
leading roles, along with newcomer Akil, and Anjali of Kattradhu Tamizh
fame. Karthik Raja's music is expected to be a big hit in the audio
market. The movie is produced under the S. Pictures banner.
