 Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Ltd, India’s flagship music company along with People
Pictures released the music of 99 at Tequila Lounge, Andheri (West).
Presence of stars like Boman Irani, Simone Singh, Kunal Khemu, Cyrus
Broacha et al brightened the musical evening even more.
The star cast
also includes, Vinod Khanna, Soha Ali Khan, Mahesh Manjrekar and
others. Simone was looking gorgeous in a white dress while Kunal
preferred to dress up in casuals. Boman Irani, donned in a black suit,
was at his energetic best. Boman accompanied the musicians playing the
live music of the flick, in singing a peppy number Delhi destiny which
is sung by non-other-than Sunidhi Chauhan. Boman also got Kunal on the
stage, who sung few lines of the song. The songs of the film would
surely appeal the youth with its fast-paced, realistic and most
importantly funny mood. The music is moreover reflective of the mood
that prevails throughout the film, hilarious and colourful and a
melodious love song is also included that captures the chemistry
between Kunal Khemu and Soha Ali khan. The outstanding music of the
movie is being composed by Ashu Phatak, Shamir Tandon, Roshan Machado
and Mahesh Shanker.
The film is about what happens when lives of two men in two cities, who
are bound by a common feeling of always being stuck at 99, gets
connected? They never seem to make it to a century in life.
