Sonu Nigam makes 'Mungaru...' bestselling Kannada audio

"Mungaru Male" is way ahead of other Kannada albums this fortnight.

The top five Kannada albums are:

1."Mungaru Male" - "Anisuthidhe yaako eno" has now become as popular as Karnataka's "Jai bharatha jananiya". Sung by Sonu Nigam, the song is creating a record even as a ring tone. The film has just completed 60 days, but its audio album is creating history.

2."Duniya" - The audio was not a hit before the film's release but has witnessed phenomenal sales growth since. The film's box-office success and the popularity of the song "Kariya I love you" have made a big impact on the sales of the audio and CD. V. Manohar has composed the songs, while Sadhu Kokila has scored the background music.

3."Jothe Jotheyalli" - Harikrishna's debut album could not have done better. "Oh, gunavantha", "Barthaare barthaare" and the title song are the toast of music lovers.

4."Ekadantha" - The film has become a musical hit even before its release in theatres thanks to television channels. The song "Bundal badaayi" occupies the top spot in film music programmes. "Bandal badaayi Maadhava" and "Naa uppukaara thinno judugi" have become top numbers. Guru Kiran's music is popular for its variety.

5."Arasu" - Joshua Shridhar's music may not be up to the mark, but the audio is still doing well because of the charismatic appeal of the film's hero, Puneet Raj Kumar.
