'Chennai 28' continues to be a roaring success

With "Sivaji" releasing Friday, other producers have no plan to release their films immediately before or after the Rajnikant starrer. This has turned out to be a blessing for films like "Chennai 600028", which has become a huge hit because of lack of competition.

The top five Tamil films are:

1. "Chennai 600028" - Director: Venkat Prabhu. The success of this small film encourages all those who believe in making good and realistic cinema. Of course, youngsters identify with the film.

2. "Naan Avan Illai" - Director: Selva. Jeevan, who did the role immortalised by Gemini Ganesan in the old classic made by K. Balachander, has become the most sought after hero after the success of this film. He deserves every bit of his success.

3. "Unnale Unnale" - Director: Jeeva. The multiplex crowd is relishing this love story directed by cinematographer Jeeva.

4. "Paruthi Veeran"- Director: Ameer. The film continues its dream run.

5. "Karuppusamy Kuthagaitharar" - Director: Murthy. Hero Karan is on cloud nine with the success of the film. It is entertaining all.
