Popular Kannada actor Ganesh will be playing a successful
television anchor with a huge fan following in the upcoming film
"Krishna". Ganesh was an anchor himself before he made it big in
the movies. He hosted the hugely popular "Comedy Time" programme on
Udaya TV and was soon nicknamed 'Comedy Time' Ganesh.
According to industry sources, the film may reflect the
frustrations he suffered during his struggle to find a place in
Kannada cinema.
But neither Ganesh nor the film's director, M.D. Sridhar, have
divulged any details of "Krishna".
Ganesh will be paired with two heroines - Pooja Gandhi and Sharmila
- in the movie produced by Ramesh Yadav.
He had earlier teamed up with Pooja in runaway hit "Mungaru Male",
which made him a big star. His popularity grew further after the
success of two subsequent films - "Hudugaata" and "Cheluvina
Chiththaara".
The music score, which releases Aug 24, has been provided by
Harikrishna.
