Lakshmi Rai To Return To Tollywood

 Actress Lakshmi Rai had virtually vanished from the Telugu movie
scenario after she started work and subsequently tasted success in the
Malayalam film industry. But this year, Lakshmi Rai will stage a
comeback in the Telugu film industry with none other than veteran
Tollywood actor Nandamuri Balakrishna. Though Lakshmi Rai’s career in
both Tollywood and Kollywood have been far from successful, the actress
is all set to change the perception of the Tamil and Telugu audience
with her upcoming Tollywood film.
The as of yet untitled venture
featuring Lakshmi Rai as one of the lead actresses will have Paruchuri
Murali at its helm. The producer of the Telugu film is M L Kumar
Chowdary, from the popular producing house Sri Keerthi Creations. With a
well known crew and a very famous co star, Lakshmi Rai will possibly
hit the bull’s eye this time round, say critics.
The 21 year old
actress who had started out as a model in South India has previously
appeared in two Telugu films in the past, the first of them was Kanchanamala Cable TV which released in the year 2005 and the second was Neeku Naaku
which hit theaters a year after. Lakshmi Rai’s future project opposite
actor Nadamuri Balakrishna will be her third Tollywood venture in four
years! Lakshmi Rai is a very popular face in Mollywood, and she hopes to
repeat that success in Tollywood this year.
