 Sun Pictures have now successfully started promotions for Vijay’s
upcoming film ‘Vettaikaran’. Sun Pictures –a wing of Sun Network
continuously picks the commercial films and promotes them vividly. Of
course, those films have witnessed big collections at box office
indeed.
Followed by the grand success of ‘Ninaithale Inikkum’ and ‘Kanden
Kadhalai’, Sun Pictures has now turned its focus on ‘Vettaikaran’. The
film feature Vijay and Anushka in lead roles and is directed by
debutant Babu Sivan.
The film is produced by AVM Productions and later Sun Pictures
acquired the rights for a record price. Recently, there were some
buzzes about Hansraj Saxena, COO of Sun Pictures insisting Vijay to
re-shoot some sequences that involved political dialogues. Nonetheless,
sources have stated that those sequences have been retained.
Sun Pictures has lavishly spent on promoting the film in all major
cities. The gigantic banners at Sathyam Cinemas nearly costs Rs.6 Lakhs
per month.
