of a stuntman played by Akki. He plays a fisherman based in the Bahamas
in Ashtavinayak’s forthcoming film Blue.

characters in all his films. He loves to experiment and take risks like
for his films. He has performed some dangerous underwater stunts for
underwater action thriller Blue.
He has proves to be method actor like Amir Khan who loves to experiment
different looks for his films. Akki too has different looks in all his
forthcoming films. He doesn’t restrict himself to acting; he is
actively part of the promotion of his films. He believes that film
promotion plays crucial part in the success of a film and just like SRK
who has smart sense of film business; Akki has promoted his last few
releases like Bhullaiyya, Welcome and Singh Is King big ways that
reflected well at the box office.
Not just that, Akki is as popular as Salman Khan among all the age
groups. In fact he is more popular than Sallu as result of that Akki
replaced Sallu in Thumps Up commercial. Isn’t it commendable that
coming from a non filmy background Akshay has created niche for himself
