 It has been more or less four years now since
the hit duo of composers of Bollywood Jatin-Lalit split. The reason for
the split was said to be several personal problems. But it looks like
their music is hugely missed, not just by the audiences, but also the
film fraternity. After all, the duo did give some of the best music
compositions to Bollywood.

 The famous Oscar winning composer, A.R Rahman, is facing a trauma
right now. Rahman is not that much of a media person and mostly chooses
to keep a low profile, especially when it comes to his family. Yesterday
morning, Rahman’s youngest daughter, Raheema, was admitted to a super
speciality hospital in Mumbai's Bandra Kurla Complex. She was moved from
Chennai to Mumbai for better recovery.

 Finally, the listing of audio tracks for ‘Raavan’ Tamil version has
been officially released by Sony Music. The title song ‘Veera’ (‘Beera’
in Hindi) has been crooned by the same singer Vijay Prakash of ‘Hosanna’
fame along with Keerthi Sagathia. The Additional African vocals are
rendered by Mustafa Kutoon. Karthik’s ‘Usure Pogudhey’ is expected to be
the Tamil version of ‘Behene De’ and A.R. Rahman has picked Shreya
Ghosal for ‘Kalvare’ (Rekha Bharadwaj’s ‘Kili Re’).

 Of late, Katrina Kaif has been doing a lot of charities and she’s
just recorded an album for the Sa Ra Ga Ma music company, called
"Rhymeskool". All proceeds from the album will go to building a school
for children in Madurai.

 The music of Mani Ratnam’s film, Raavan, was launched on Saturday
night amidst much fanfare and performances by the film’s lead actor
Abhishek Bachchan and music director AR Rahman. Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan, the lead actress of the film, was the
highlight of the event as she was the host to introduce the film, draped
in a cream colour saree with red embroidery.

 Directed by Sivanand Yalala ‘Dhoom Dhaam’ was produced by YV Manu
and presented by Jogannagari Aruna Reddy. The film was made with the
lives of Telangana people in its backdrop. The audio was released into
the market recently and became a big hit with all the audio cassettes
and CDs sold like hot cakes.

 T-Series Head Honcho Bhushan Kumar had tough time convincing Rakesh
Roshan, the Producer of ‘Kites’ to include remixes in album of the
movie. Finally, Rakesh Roshan agreed to include remixes in his upcoming
film.

 Shreya Ghoshal has won the Kerala State Film Award for the best
female playback singer for her song, ‘Chandhu Thottille’ in Banaras,
adding her to long list of awards.

music composer of Eros International & Shaira Khan's ‘Paathshaala’
did while creating the music for the Shahid Kapoor starrer.
