upcoming film was released recently and regaled the audiences with its
musical extravaganza.

scheduled to release this year on September 24. The movie starring
Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra is directed by Siddharth Anand.

gearing up for his upcoming tour in the U.K. and is in serious talks for
working with the likes of Usher and Dido, who have shown interest in
Indian music and are in talks for jamming with Rahman in his next album
after the U.K. tour.

Mani Ratnam’s Raavan has just been given a new song, thanks to that
poet par excellence, Gulzar, who saw the film and suggested the
embellishment. The director, always open to fresh ideas from his team,
readily agreed. Composer Rahman was informed and that’s how Raavan got a
new song.

It has been more or less four years now since
the hit duo of composers of Bollywood Jatin-Lalit split. The reason for
the split was said to be several personal problems. But it looks like
their music is hugely missed, not just by the audiences, but also the
film fraternity. After all, the duo did give some of the best music

right now. Rahman is not that much of a media person and mostly chooses
to keep a low profile, especially when it comes to his family. Yesterday
morning, Rahman’s youngest daughter, Raheema, was admitted to a super
speciality hospital in Mumbai's Bandra Kurla Complex. She was moved from
Chennai to Mumbai for better recovery.

been officially released by Sony Music. The title song ‘Veera’ (‘Beera’
in Hindi) has been crooned by the same singer Vijay Prakash of ‘Hosanna’
fame along with Keerthi Sagathia. The Additional African vocals are
rendered by Mustafa Kutoon. Karthik’s ‘Usure Pogudhey’ is expected to be
the Tamil version of ‘Behene De’ and A.R. Rahman has picked Shreya
Ghosal for ‘Kalvare’ (Rekha Bharadwaj’s ‘Kili Re’).
